  Initiative to strengthen businesses - Arusha Regional Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) and the Institute of Accountancy Arusha are collaborating to provide practical business training with the aim of strengthening existing and new businesses.
This new venture aims at helping small to medium sized enterprises compete in the modern market place and understand the demand-driven economy by providing tuition in up-to-date and practical methods that business people can easily adapt and use in their businesses.

  The Development of a Strategic Framework for the Financing of Local Governments in Tanzania report was prepared by the Georgia State University, International Studies Programme for the Government of Tanzania. The report contains eight (8) components for a strategic framework for local government finance in Tanzania and also indicates how each level of local government should be funded and how each source of local revenue could be optimized. This is Section One of this report and it provides a synopsis of the Government’s local government reform agenda, and the government’s general policy stance with regard to local governance finances.

They have strengthened links between sector policies and resource allocation, thus providing valuable analysis and feedback on budget execution that has improved resource use.
