16. Standard VII pass rate up 10 per cent, says NECTA

  The results announced by the National Exemination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) Executive Secretary, Dr Charles Msonde, in Dar es Salaam yesterday reflect the usual pattern where private schools have done better than public schools.

The results also show that schools from Lake Zone and some regions in the western part of the country took up first ten positions in the ranking.
