A local NGO, Doris Mollel Foundation (DMF) yesterday received two oxygen concentrators and six suction machines, to support its ongoing efforts to address premature births.
An oxygen concentrator is a device which concentrates the oxygen from a gas supply (typically ambient air) to supply an oxygen enriched gas mixture. |

Seventeen people have died and 268 others hospitalised due to cholera outbreak in three districts in Mwanza Region.
The acting regional chief physician, Dr Magreth Magambo, confirmed the outbreak of the epidemic, saying the first case was diagnosed on September 16, this year. |
