  The University of Dar es Salaam plans to start incubating its graduates and staff in a move to enable them to set up their own businesses. Under the programme the incubated academics would be able to train more small and medium entrepreneurs who would be eager to embark.
 
2. Kuwait funds construction of 60m/- borehole in Dar

  The Kuwait government has supported a project for drilling a water borehole worth more than 60m/= for Tuangoma residents in Temeke District in Dar es Salaam. A representative of the Kuwait government, who doubles as managing director of African Relief Kuwait Committee, Samy Mohammed, pointed out that water inadequacy or misuse posed a serious threat both to economic welfare and human health.
