Profile: Dr. Tengia –Kessy is the current Organizing Secretary of the TPHA. She is a Medical doctor (UDSM 1986) and works with the Institute of Public Health, Community Health Department of Muhimbili University College of Health, as a lecturer since July 1997.
She has a Masters degree in Community Health from the University of Dar es Salaam (MUCHS 1996), Tanzania, a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for Adolescents (Stockholm 1998) and a Certificate in Consultative Research for Improving Young Child Feeding (Mombasa Kenya 1998). Dr. Tengia-Kessy has been involved in several research initiatives and has published in the area of HIV/AIDS and STDs.
