SERIKALI imeamua kuvisajili upya vyuo vyote vinavyosimamiwa na Mamlaka ya Elimu na Ufundi Stadi (Veta), katika mkakati wa kuhakikisha kuwa vyuo hivyo, vinatoa elimu inayokidhi matakwa ya waajiri.
Mkurugenzi wa Veta, Kanda ya Mashariki, Sylvester Nyambo, alisema hatua hiyo inafuatia malalamiko ya muda mrefu ya baadhi ya waajiri wa wahitimu wa vyuo hivyo, kuhusu uwezo mdogo wa utendaji usiolingana na sifa zilizoko katika vyeti vyao.

Dk Kawambwa alisema hayo jana jijini Dar es Salaam, baada ya kufungua semina ya wiki mbili inayohusu mafunzo ya usalama wa usafiri wa anga.

However, the amount of data changing hands and quality of voice communication has already improved since the Tanzania Telecommunication Company (TTCL) was hooked into the Seacom Tanzania Ltd on July 28, 2009.

The Small Industries Development Organisation (Sido) lent Sh260 million to operators of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in Manyara Region in 2008/9.
Sido regional manager Akundaeli Ndossi told The Citizen that Sh223.6 million was from a special fund for indigenous entrepreneurs and Sh36.3 million was from the regional revolving fund.

Tanzania has launched a bank aimed specifically at women in what officials say will be an empowering move.
The bank says women need only an ID card or passport to open an account, unlike other banks which require title deeds or other proofs of wealth.
And applicants need only 3,000 Tanzanian shillings ($2) in savings - much less than other banks.
