  At least 61 new American Peace Corps volunteers were sworn in mid this week in Dar es Salaam by US Ambassador to Tanzania Mark Childress. The volunteers will serve in the education sector for a period of two years as teaching assistants in math, science and English across several secondary schools across the country for the next two years.
