  The Citizen newspaper wishes to increase the coverage of ICT and related issues. Constantine Sebastian of the Citizen and Co. are requesting potential contributors to submit their names, person profiles and areas of expertise, so that we can prepare a database of writers to regularly write short, analytical and interesting articles on ICT in Tanzania. An idea of topics which might be of interest include The challenges of running an Internet Café; Which mobile service provider should I choose; How farmers are using mobile telephones for price information; Mobile payment systems; What is all the fuss about Windows Vista? and Open source and how it can help.

  VODACOM Tanzania has launched the first of its third generation (3G) High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) products - the data card - which offers broadband speed on the move.

The mobile phone network provider will make this product available on both post-paid and prepaid packages through its vodashops in Dar es Salaam.
